Although each composition is created entirely within a computer,
the real creative process takes place at some point between my inner self
and the computer's inner software environment.
A meditative relationship is forged between my world and the computer’s world.
I approach each new composition as a blank canvas of light and work without preconceived notions of what we will create.
Without desire for results.
The computer and I act in a mutual creativity, each in reaction to the expressions and most recent digital manipulations of the other.
I find this process to be as fluid and natural as painting in the tactile world of oils, solvents and physical space. And although I have,
on rare occasion, gone back into a piece and invested additional time to it's compositional elements,
I ordinarily work from beginning to completion in one sitting,
Sometimes this takes minutes.Sometimes this takes hours.
The result is a meditative state in which my sense of self-awareness tends to dissipate
and the fact that I am sitting at my computer is completely eliminated.

All the pieces found herein have been created in Adobe Photoshop.
Cigarettes, coffee, and an array of great music have helped guide the way.
A sincere thank you to everyone involved in the production and availability of all four.
